Learning to fly yourself has always been a dream, and now you want to take the first real step with one of our experienced instructors. During this trial flying lesson in Lelystad, the basics of flying are explained, as well as how the training programme is structured and what is involved in earning your licence.

The trial lesson takes about 2 hours, of which approximately 45 minutes is flight time.

After the flight, the instructor will also record your first flight in the pilot logbook you receive from Aeroclub Maritime during this trial lesson.

The cost of a trial flying lesson is € 299,-

What is included in the trial lesson?

Included in the trial lesson:

• 2 hours of instruction
• approximately 1 hour in the aircraft
• pilot logbook

The trial lesson is intended for anyone who wants to experience whether learning to fly is a good fit. You do not need any flying experience. Afterwards you can discuss whether you want to continue with a starter package or the full flight training programme.

Trial lesson, flying lesson or full training?

A trial flying lesson is the accessible way to experience a real flying lesson in Lelystad. You fly with an instructor, receive an explanation of the basic controls and experience directly what it is like to fly from Lelystad Airport.

If you want to continue afterwards, you can move on to individual flying lessons, the starter package or a full PPL or LAPL flight training programme. The trial lesson is mainly an introduction: you discover whether learning to fly suits you and can ask questions about planning, costs, membership and the route to a pilot licence.
